My name is Marije Woudsma, I’m 23 years old and a third-year Graphic Design student at Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam. I create and develop unique concepts, bringing ideas to life through the medium that fits best. Whether motion design, illustration, or experimenting with new materials.

Before this, I studied Media Design for four years, gaining a solid technical foundation in Adobe software and hands-on experience through two internships. Those years built my confidence in technical skills, taught me about studio practice, collaboration, and feedback, and confirmed my drive to grow creatively, leading me to art school.

Beyond design, I’m fascinated by marine life and everything that lives beneath the ocean’s surface. I love cooking (especially Mexican food), caring for my (house) plants, and I’m learning the craft of coffee as a starting barista. I’m also engaged with social social issues including the environment, human rights, and inclusivity.
